RIU - Research Into Use

RIU highlights: End of phase one June 2011

Between August 2010 and March 2011 RIU produced monthly RIU highlights and RIUtv News. This time we have produced an overall highlights focusing on some of the lessons and significant achievements. At 20 minutes this news bulletin is a bit longer than usual and it doesn't aim to be comprehensive, but it does show how some of the work programmes progressed, especially ones which are going forward as part of the extension.

In June 2011, DFID awarded RIU an extension to the programme to allow about a third of the initiatives to generate additional knowledge outputs and provide greater and more in depth evidence of impact.

End of phase one highlights include:

Aquaculture programmes
Livestock programmes
Crop programmes
Communication
Endorsements and comments on RIU
Policy lessons
